NBR to continue online VAT registration

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) will continue online VAT registration and businesses that have already collected e-BIN or new nine digit registration number will have to run their activities as per the new system.

But the businesses which still did to collect e-BIN or nine digit registration number will be able to operate their activities by using the old 11-digit Value Added Tax (VAT) registration up to December 31, 2017, the NBR said in a public notice issued on Thursday.

But these businesses must take e-BIN or nine digit registration number by December 31, 2017 to operate their activities, it said, reports BSS.
